While we are Building a Cathedral, God is Building His People

How exciting it is to see what God is doing through the People of Grace! Month after month we have heard the testimonies of God’s people and how their faith walk in the Lifestyle Stewardship Capital Campaign has changed their lives. We have received so much more than we ever expected; yes, the amount raised continues to grow, but God’s blessings far exceed the monetary accumulation.

Quiet people, talkative people, shy people, well known and little known people have walked boldly to the pulpit to share their experiences with the rest of the congregation, since they started honoring their commitment, over and above their tithes and offerings. God is increasing our faith and making us bold for Him.

Week after week, we see the people that have been moved to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. This is a visible sign of God’s favor upon our church, as we know that when Jesus is lifted up, He will draw all men unto Him. Let us pray that God will continue to pour out His Spirit upon us.

We have heard about the Miracles that God has performed among us through the many testimonies of our members, and we are all reminded that, “Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain.

Psalm 127:1. God does not want us to just have a new physical building, made of brick and mortar; He wants Us to be filled with His spirit so that we can have the power to do His will, to “preach good news to the poor, to proclaim freedom for the prisoner, recover sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor”, Luke 4:18-19.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I Corinthians 3:16-17

In all, our effort will validate the vision that God has for us in cherishing our past and laying the foundation for our future. In other words: Let both grow together until the harvest. -St. Matthew 13.3
